## Summary

This proposal seeks to include the **Upshift earnAUSD Vault** as part of USP backing.  
By integrating the vault, USP backing benefits from diversified yield generation and improved on-chain collateral utility. The vault systematically allocates stable assets into optimized DeFi yield strategies, providing **risk-adjusted returns** while maintaining **simplicity and liquidity** for depositors.

## Rationale

Integrating the **Upshift earnAUSD Vault** into the USP backing strategy enhances the treasury’s **capital efficiency** by exposing backing assets to a **diversified, risk-aware yield engine** without compromising liquidity or composability. Upshift vaults are designed to automatically allocate deposited assets across **vetted DeFi yield opportunities** — including lending, basis trades, and structured allocations — thereby earning **optimized risk-adjusted yield** on stablecoins like **AUSD** , which can complement USP’s backing profile.
